Job Description

Candidates will be working in the core assembly area and will be responsible for building the cores of industrial radiators. This role involves operating a slitting machine, loading spools of various metals, and ensuring the machine functions smoothly without jamming. Additionally, candidates will work in teams of two to assemble the actual cores by handling and inserting metal pipes through the core sheathing.

Responsibilities

• Operate a slitting machine and load spools of various metals.

• Ensure the slitting machine operates without jamming.

• Work in teams of two to assemble radiator cores.

• Handle and insert metal pipes through core sheathing.

Essential Skills

• 1+ year of assembly or machine operation experience.

• 1+ year of power tool experience.

• Ability to read a tape measure.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical assembly.

• Ability to read blueprints.

• Experience using an overhead crane.

Work Environment

The facility is not temperature controlled and can get hot during the summer, especially in the core area where solder dipping is performed. The environment is clean and organized, ensuring a safe and efficient workflow.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
