The Opportunity:
The Account Executive, Point of Purchase (POP) Display, is responsible for developing new clients and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, assuring that revenue targets and strategic company goals are met or exceeded and that the goods and services provided to the client meets their needs.

The Opportunity:
The Sales Representative is responsible for successfully pursuing new business opportunities and managing existing customer accounts to achieve our annual sales objectives.
The Sales Representative prospects and engages new customers to develop new business for our plants, manages current customer relationships.
The Sales Representative will partner with management to complete budget planning, work with the area operations teams to sell open machine capacity and value-added services while supporting cross-functional teams to ensure sales strategy execution.

Effectively articulate our sales vision and strategy in the pursuit of new business opportunities, develop a robust sales pipeline, and manage select existing customer relationships
Ability to navigate within a customer\u2019s organizational structure and build relationships at multiple levels within accounts
Drive Commercial Excellence to exceed our area volume and profit goals through new account development within targeted segments, growth in existing accounts, actively participate in margin improvement initiatives and both drive and support enterprise sales efforts
Develop working relationships with other Smurfit Westrock facilities to create opportunities for additional revenue streams across the enterprise capabilities
Identify pricing dynamics within accounts to provide insights to Smurfit Westrock commercial decisions
Understand market dynamics and business drivers that define long-term commercial strategies and have an impact on our area and develop strategies to reach company objectives
Utilize internal resources to leverage knowledge of market trends and competition
Define overall account vision, \u2018Play to Win\u2019 and account growth plan for targeted customers by aligning market trends and customer needs with Smurfit Westrock solutions
Deliver results by executing on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Meet or exceed individual budgeted and volume sales goals to contribute to the organization\u2019s annual targets objectives
Monitor profitability levels to track progress against budgeted targets and analyze monthly financial summaries
Effective utilization of CRM system (Salesforce.com) to manage opportunities and pipeline on a consistent basis
Manage contractual relationships and negotiate multi-year contracts
People and Culture
Seek and qualify prospective customers in accordance with Sales strategy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of the overall Sales strategy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify value add opportunities to improve margins
Manage customer engagement through the sales lifecycle to ensure contractual obligations are met and to enable customer satisfaction
What you need to succeed:
Bachelor\u2019s degree preferred
2-3+ years business-to-business (B2B) Sales experience (Manufacturing/service industry preferred)
Ability to create and deliver engaging presentations to internal and external audiences
Demonstrated sales competence and financial acumen
Experience with Salesforce.com
Microsoft Office - Excel, Outlook

How you will impact Smurfit Westrock:
Identify and develop sales leads through various sources (business/industry directories and publications, trade shows, web sites etc.); establish and maintain customer relationships and provide primary customer contact
Travel as needed throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers; travel requirement fluctuates depending on need and may encompass 100% of the Account Executive\u2019s time in certain situations
Make presentations to existing and prospective clients generating new and additional business
Partner with clients to assess marketing and promotional needs
Work with internal resources including Design, Estimating, Project Management, Production and Fulfillment to initiate and complete projects and orders
Initiate programs as required using WRMD's proprietary front\u2010end systems
Investigate and resolve customer problems.
Do regular "store checks" to assess the quality of finished product in the marketplace and analyze promotional effectiveness
Prepare various sales and business activity reports, and expense reports
What you need to succeed:
High school diploma or GED minimum; Bachelor\u2019s degree preferred.
Prior knowledge of Point of Purchase display industry or a related sales field.
Three or more years of industry experience or experience in a related area with a high volume of sales
Ability to develop presentations and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
Account Executive must be familiar with field concepts, practices and procedures, and use knowledge of Smurfit Westrock capabilities to develop customer solutions within Smurfit Westrock\u2019s ability to execute those solutions
Position relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
