Job Description

As a QC Chemist, you will utilize your independent judgment to analyze and determine the quality of products using specialized analytical equipment. You will perform various laboratory procedures related to the analysis of bulk and pharmaceutical chemicals, ensuring accurate and safe assessments of chemical entities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze samples using laboratory equipment and techniques such as FT-IR, Loss on Drying, Non-volatile Residue, moisture analysis, and other methods.

• Operate and analyze samples using HPLC and GC systems.

• Maintain a thorough and organized laboratory notebook.

• Troubleshoot and fix various laboratory instruments.

• Perform peer reviews of commercial product laboratory data.

• Apply critical thinking and understanding of analytical equipment and chemical compatibility to ensure the quality of manufactured pharmaceutical compounds.

Essential Our Clientills

• Degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry.

• Experience with FT-IR, KF, HPLC, GC, and other laboratory equipment.

• Proficiency in quality control processes and laboratory procedures.

• High consciousness for personal and equipment safety.

• Ability to work all shifts as the QC Laboratory operates 24/7/365.

Work Environment

The workplace includes areas where a wide variety of chemical materials are used and stored, with potential exposure to variable noise levels. The QC Laboratory operates 24/7/365, and candidates must be open to working all shifts. This is a day shift position, Monday to Friday, with start times between 6 am and 8 am.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
