The Finance Manager will play a key role in driving financial strategy, forecasting, analysis, and business decision support for the Ethicon US Commercial gross to net reserves and customer price strategies. With annual revenue of approximately $3.7 billion, you will have the opportunity to work with a world-class team and contribute to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead gross to net and price consolidation & analytics for monthly/quarterly actuals and planning cycles, including framing of insights for strategic business reviews

  • Lead critical monthly and quarterly revenue entries and balance sheet reconciliations

  • Own accuracy, completeness, and compliance of Ethicon automated revenue accrual rates

  • Collaborate with cross functional partners to analyze and frame the insights for monthly price performance

  • Active leadership for Commercial Finance SigniFi implementation

  • Coordinate and frame quarterly and annual internal/external compliance/GAA rebate and revenue controls

  • Framing & influencing of business insights to shape business decisions and delivery of financial targets

  • Enhance systems, analytics, and reporting tools

  • Oversight and development of direct reports and dotted-line team members

  • Partner with various IT teams to support interface data validation

Qualifications

Education:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required. A major in finance or accounting is preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in finance and/or accounting is required.

  • Strong working knowledge and understanding of US GAAP, J&J WWP's, and J&J Finance standard methodologies is preferred.

  • Candidate must possess excellent analytical, conceptual, communication, and interpersonal skills while working in a dynamic, cross-cultural team environment.

  • Strong financial analysis, business partnering, team building, and influence management skills are preferred.

  • The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, efficiently manage various responsibilities, and effectively assume leadership positions in diverse areas.

  • This position may require up to 5% of domestic travel.

Preferred:

  • A CPA, CMA, or other financial certification is preferred.

  • Prior managerial/supervisory experience is preferred.

Other:

  • This position may require up to 5% of domestic travel.

The base pay range for this position is $97,000 - $166,750 USD.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
