The Data Analyst will be responsible for supporting analytics of the quality assurance team at Stryker Medical in Redmond, WA.

They will work with multiple levels of the organization with varying degrees of data competency and adoption. It is imperative they can clearly translate data into digestible reports and dashboards that can drive actionable insights and recommendations. They will support competency growth and organizational adoption by producing impactful results at a functional level.

What You Will Do:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, ensuring requirements meet the result expected

  • Builds successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Collaborate with the team to identify, support, and create scalable solutions, including complex data models and statistical calculations as needed.

  • Simplify complex information to present content across various levels effectively.

  • Prepare data as required. This includes collecting, organizing, and cleaning data to extract valuable insights from the raw data set.

  • Build Power BI reports and dashboards based on requirements & collaborate to develop and deliver training and consultations on how to use data and insights based on those reports and dashboards.

  • Investigate reporting issues from quality assurance and provide technical expertise to resolve and follow up on time

  • Work efficiently with large data sets from complex processes to derive insights creating custom Structured Query Language (SQL) for data queries where needed

  • Perform Quality Assurance (QA) activities to ensure the data integrity of new/existing reporting and validation as required.

  • High attention to detail and quality of data and results.

What You Need

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of direct experience working as a data analyst or other similar role.

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or related field.

  • Understanding and experience with Microsoft BI products and services.

  • Some software development skills, as required to support Power BI tools.

  • Experience with SQL, DAX, and other data languages.

  • Strong understanding of data analysis and visualization principles.

  • Prior experience of best practices to collect required data.

Preferred Skills & Education:

  • Master's degree

  • Prior experience with Power BI Tools, with expertise in Power BI

  • Prior experience in a regulated environment is a plus.

  • Experience acquiring and preparing data from multiple ERP systems such as AS400, Oracle, SAP, and JDE

  • Proven thought leadership in interpreting and communicating analytical content

  • Ability to effectively present and influence leadership and large groups of people

  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

$58,700 - $118,600 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
