Job Description:

Apex Systems is partnering with a household name in the Video Game industry to hire an Education Community Program Manager for an 18 month contract role. This role can be 100% remote.

We are seeking an experienced, innovative, and collaborative individual with a passion for growing global and inclusive communities around our games and products to join the Community & Social Media Team. You will play a key role in strengthening the connection between our audience and education platform, surfacing the audience's voice, and delivering delightful and tailored experiences across Community owned and operated channels and programs.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Education communities that are inclusive of our diverse and global audience, engage with them, and look for opportunities to better service their needs
  • Manage and execute community engagement strategies across our communities
  • Advocate for the players and audience:
  • Regularly communicate and create reports that surface listening updates, learnings, and data around key beats while highlighting opportunities for the studio.
  • Represent the voice of the audience in the development process and provide input to the development team representing player-first feature requests while providing feedback about new content.

     

Qualifications:

  • A passion for education with a love for video games and video game communities, and the conviction to put our audience first.
  • Experience with education, educational technology, or teaching communities, policies, and best practices
  • Familiarity using data to adjust and optimize strategy and activations for community-facing channels.
  • Familiarity and user of community and social media platforms.
