----Job Description---- VOLT is hiring immediately for a Quality Inspector II in Redmond, Washington. This role involves inspecting products at various stages of the production process, conducting tests, and documenting findings. The QA Inspector plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of the company's quality management system (QMS) and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. As a Quality Inspector you will: * Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of products using standard measuring tools, as well as advanced measuring instruments and techniques. * Document inspection results, complete inspection reports, and maintain records according to company and regulatory standards. * Identify and segregate non-conforming materials and products. * Assist in root cause analysis for quality issues (e.g. NCR) under the guidance of senior inspectors. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions. * Participate in data collection for analysis of inspection methods (e.g. GR&R). * Conduct QC Inspector training for SOPs and tools for select products and processes. * Execute complex inspections, including first-article and pre-shipment reviews, using sophisticated measuring equipment with guidance from senior inspector. * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and process efficiency. * Support internal and external audits, as necessary. * Performs other duties assigned as needed. This is a full time opportunity. The ideal candidate will have: * High school diploma or associate's degree. * Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality assurance role or equivalent, preferably in the medical device industry or a similarly regulated environment. * Experience with dimensional inspection with smaller assemblies. * Familiarity with quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820). Able to document properly in the quality management system. * Proficient in the use of measurement and inspection tools. Comfortable using microscopes, optical comparator, image reflector, etc. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Experience with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
