Nintendo of America Inc. Sr. Business Intelligence Developer Redmond, Washington

Sr. Business Intelligence Developer Create business intelligence stored procedures and reports, including design, development and management of a data warehouse environment used for analytics and reporting. Ensure the generation of standard or custom reports summarizing operational and financial data and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for review by executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders. Gather information to understand the needs of the business and translate those into meaningful reporting that allows for actionable decisions. Identify and recommend changes to optimize the ETL environment, implement monitoring, quality and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Conduct and coordinate unit and system tests ensuring intelligence is consistent with defined needs. Design and deploy database table structures, reports, and queries. Position may include additional duties that utilize the required skills. Telecommuting permitted up to 60%; employee must reside within normal commuting distance of company's office in Redmond, Washington. Requires a Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in: •           Coordinating with business SME in analyzing business requirements and translating them into detailed conceptual data models, process models, logical model, physical models and schema development in the database; •           Participating in design and technical brainstorming sessions to provide technology edge to the BI solution, and designing DW and executing the technical features of the overall strategy of the data warehouse and ETL process; •           Designing ETL using T-SQL, SSIS (SQL Server Integration Service), SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Service) to handle huge volume of high frequency data with best industry approach and technology promoting clarity and efficiency in using data to drive decision-making; •           Managing artifacts - Peer-Peer design review, creating Build and Release configuration and implementation using GIT Repository; and •           Strategizing the end-to-end Agile and Dev-Ops methodology, implementing the Dev-Ops in project management for Code-work flow and release management. Telecommuting permitted up to 60%; employee must reside within normal commuting distance of company's office in Redmond, Washington. This position includes a base salary range of $183,581 - $183,581 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
