Responsibilities

At SCA Health, we are committed to transforming the landscape of ambulatory surgical centers and surgical hospitals through innovative technology solutions. Our IT team plays a pivotal role in ensuring that our technology support meets the highest standards of reliability and usefulness.

We are seeking an Application Developer to join our dynamic team of developers. This individual will contribute to revolutionizing how technology is applied within our surgical centers nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Development : Participate in the design and development of scalable and resilient enterprise software solutions.

  • Collaboration : Work closely with business analysts and project managers to understand and solve business challenges.

  • Code Maintenance : Assist in code reviews and adhere to architectural standards and best practices.

  • Professional Growth : Demonstrate a continuing interest in personal , technical , and professional growth.

  • User Experience : Contribute to the development of user-centric software solutions that address user needs effectively.

  • Support and Guidance : Support the development efforts of junior developers and participate in the resolution of escalated technical issues.

  • Technical Implementation : Help implement new technologies and architectures as guided by senior team members.

  • Documentation : Assist in the development of software documentation aligned with the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

  • Problem Resolution : Assist in the technical analysis to troubleshoot and resolve code-related issues efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in software development with a focus on C#, .NET Framework, and SQL Server.

  • Experience with web development technologies such as Angular or React is preferred.

  • Familiarity with Entity Framework and basic microservices architecture.

  • Some exposure to cloud platforms like Azure and Agile development methodologies.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative team player.

  • Eager to learn new technologies and methodologies.
