ICF Palantir Foundry Platform Specialist (Remote) in Reston, Virginia

ICF’s Digital Modernization Division is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial, technology department, seeking a Palantir Foundry Platform Specialist to support the current needs of our federal customers.

Our Digital Modernization Division is an information technology and management consulting department that offers integrated, strategic solutions to its public and private-sector clients. ICF has the expertise, agility, and commitment to design, build, and operate high-performance IT engines to support all aspects of our client’s business.

ICF is seeking an experienced, Palantir-Foundry Platform Specialist to support the adoption of emerging digital technologies and platforms, and the implementation and management of data sources that make these tools effective. The team operates the Digital Services Center (DSC) for the customer, manages SaaS platforms, and leads IT service management (ITSM) process implementation and governance. The role is dynamic and will require a candidate who is able to work productively and efficiently in a team-oriented environment, is open to stretch assignments, and can handle a variety of tasks simultaneously. Experience working as a Foundry engineer is needed.

Responsibilities include :

  • Apply expertise and knowledge of the Palantir Foundry platform to manage the portfolio of applications to ensure application architecture is aligned with current and future needs.

  • Establish and maintain the platform governance and management standards and SOPs, architecture documentation, platform release notes, and customer-facing knowledge articles.

  • Provide platform-level consultation and assist NCI customers with the adoption of the platform capabilities and best practices to support their business needs and processes.

  • Coordinate with other NIH stakeholders for knowledge sharing and system and data integration as needed.

  • Identify platform issues or trends and offer recommendations for improvement and resolution.

  • Apply the expert understanding of Ontology, data integration, model integration, analytics, application frameworks, and integrations to determine the appropriate integration path for the Palantir platform and various sources of data.

  • Develop and manage data integrations, APIs, and connectors to support solution creation.

  • Accelerate the pace of platform modernization with well-defined engineering and ITSM processes to streamline solution development and implementation.

  • Work closely with the Palantir developer and business analyst to provide the research analytics support necessary for this task.

  • Enable digital transformation through proactive analysis and application of digital technologies.

  • Establish IT best practices, reusable components, and accelerators to increase the velocity and quality of the implementation activities.

  • Leverage the knowledge and best practices defined to estimate the level of support required and to collaborate with NCI DOCs to integrate and analyze NCI data.

  • Leverage and expand the customer's implementation of the Palantir Foundry Platform

  • Work closely with other SaaS platforms such as Github, M365, or Atlassian tool suite as needed.

Required Skills and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or Engineering.

  • 2+ years of hands-on Palantir Foundry engineering experience.

  • 2+ years of experience with Ontology, data integration, models integration, analytics, application frameworks, and integrations in Foundry

  • 5+ years of industry experience working with various SaaS platforms.

  • 2+ years of experience managing SaaS platforms and establishing governance processes.

  • 1+ years of Public sector consulting experience.

  • US Citizen due to federal contract requirements

  • Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.

  • MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.), as this work is for a federal contract and laws do apply.

Preferred experience:

  • Prior experience supporting U.S. Government Federal Health programs and projects is preferable.

  • Develop an understanding of client business processes and technical requirements and translate them into specific solution requirements.

  • Proactive nature consistently demonstrates Initiative to take ownership of resolving Issues and gaps.

  • Strong knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, methodologies, architectures, and technical standards

  • Excellent oral and written communication/presentation skills

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:

$84,533.00 - $143,706.00
