Bowman has an opportunity for an experienced and motivated Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team. This temporary position (60+ days) is hybrid offering flexibility while requiring the ability to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) weekly. Hybrid schedule can be in one of the following offices: Reston, VA, Reno, NV, Austin, TX or Tempe, AZ.

Purpose
The Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top surveying professionals for land development and construction projects. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a deep understanding of the surveying industry, strong networking skills, and the ability to match the right talent with the right opportunities.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Direction
- Receive general instruction on key objectives for execution. Receive direction as needed, and especially complex assignments, modified techniques, and new approaches on assignments with conflicting criteria. Work is completed using advanced techniques and principles and is reviewed by more senior staff to ensure application of sound professional judgement. Review work produced by junior staff for quality assurance.
Do the Work
Recruitment Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract skilled surveyors, including land surveyors, party chiefs, survey technicians, and other related roles.
Source, identify, screen, interview, and close candidates in a highly competitive marketplace.
Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities.
Leverage various sourcing methods, including social media, job boards, industry networks, and direct outreach, to identify top talent.
Ensure a smooth and engaging candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
Industry Expertise & Market Awareness:
Strong understanding of surveying roles, industry certifications, and job market trends.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of key organizational business policies, project initiatives, and industry competitors.
Network and establish long-term relationships within the surveying industry to create a strong talent pipeline.
Communication & Collaboration:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and advise on market conditions.
Provide regular updates and recruitment reports to leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Meet defined KPIs, including time-to-fill, candidate quality, and hiring manager satisfaction.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably within the surveying, land development, or AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industries.
Proven success in sourcing passive candidates and executing high-volume recruitment strategies.
Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS; experience with UKG and iCIMS preferred.
Strong knowledge of EEO legislation, OFCCP compliance, and other relevant staffing laws.
Physical Demands and Working Environment
Primarily indoor professional office environment which may include bright/dim light, noise, fumes, odors, and traffic.
Mobility around an office environment.
Frequent and prolonged use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Primarily local travel during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be required according to the needs of the business.
Occasional lifting or carrying up to 20 pounds.
Occasional pushing or pulling up to 20 pounds.
Occasional reaching outward or above shoulder.
