Summary
The Influencer Strategy Specialist supports development and execution of Bath & Body Works’ influencer and partnership strategic initiatives. They will partner with the team’s leader to build relationships with agencies and talent, as well as internal partners to ensure seamless integration of partnership strategies into omni campaign execution. They will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that increase the reach and awareness of the brand, build credibility and ultimately insert Bath & Body Works into cultural conversation through increased relevance.
Responsibilities
Develop omni Influencer strategies to inform execution of creative/channel briefs to effectively support key brand / business goals and priorities
Identify and prioritize strategic partnership priorities for a given season/brand initiative to integrate into Brand Strategy annual plans
Key partner to support agency/vendor integration and enable execution of programs
Support on-going Influencer strategy development and program execution capabilities, including but not limited to:
Contracting process in partnership with Legal
Influencer identification, vetting and roster recommendation
Vendor setup and payment in collaboration with Finance
Coordination of sampling initiatives + elevated mailings to talent, inclusive of securing product
Drive content management and approval process
Support brief development
Maintains key documents, trackers, status sheets and assets for the influencer team and ongoing programs
Coordinates with cross-functional teams (Brand Strategy, Integrated Marketing & Media, Creative) to ensure content integration to support key initiatives and brand priorities
Partner with Analytics, Social and Performance teams to monitor effectiveness of Influencer content across owned and partner platforms; optimize strategies based on results
Stays ahead of emerging trends and technologies in social media and the influencer ecosystem to implement innovative, creative approaches to ongoing campaigns
Manages and conducts bi-annual influencer content audit to ensure FTC compliance
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
2-4 years of marketing experience in-house or at an agency with a focus on marketing, social or influencer strategy
Experience working in beauty, consumer goods, fashion or retail industries preferred
Strong teammate and positive, proactive attitude with great interpersonal and relationship-building skills; ability to brief senior leaders, foster relationships with internal and external partners, talent and agencies, representing the brand in all facets of negotiation, development and execution
Highly organized with the ability to multitask, project manage and self-start against key business priorities in a fast environment
Attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills required with experience in presentation development and visual storytelling
Ability to think critically, curiously, strategically and innovatively, and change course if necessary, to achieve desired results
Results oriented, be willing to take ownership of all assigned responsibilities and adhere to deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook with an in-depth knowledge of influencer management and analytics tools (i.e., Klear, Meltwater)
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
