About the role :

Work/responsibilities regularly span multiple job families within this job group. Provides strategic advice, support, and services to internal business partners and external audiences and providers. Develops appropriate and effective policies, procedures and controls pertaining to: financial management, accounting processes and procedures (GAAP), cash management, financial and strategic planning, tax compliance and corporate reporting functions. Manages and coordinates external financial reporting and investor relations. Includes Controllers with responsibility for both finance and accounting. Roles with treasury or investor relations responsibility should be assigned to this job family.

This job family is intended to accommodate

1) jobs whose accountabilities span two or more job families within the job group;

2) jobs that are not covered by a defined job family within the job group;

3) managerial roles spanning more than one family that are not broad enough in scope and impact to be assigned to the Business Unit/General Management job family within the Management job group.

  • Full Management of monthly statements to distributors, Service accounts and MOH NUPCO.

  • Handling, processing and Reconciliation of customer statements and allocations of payments

  • Assist processing of Credit Notes and dispute management process with delinquent customers.

  • Monthly coordination with various departments to initiate AR invoice allocation.

  • Coordinating with service department to ensure timely contract renewals / compliance.

  • Monthly review and management of ageing including analysis and follow-up strategy.

  • Detailed Management of Bad Debt and Quarterly closing assessment and counter measure.

  • Key Account management of Distributors, NUPCO certification process, Direct Customers.

  • Contract management on NUPCO and other key accounts to assess penalties and Credit Notes

  • Support documentation and adherence to credit policy and procedure.

  • Manage customer relationships, related cash flow and monthly AR forecast activities.

  • Bank facilities: Trade Services, facilities, and Bank Coordination (L/C and B/G management)

  • Supervise collectors within the region and allocate various tasks to ensure timely collections.

  • Oracle user AR/ Cash Application and Credit management.

Good Relationship abilities in NUPCO and strong problem solver.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor of commerce – Finance and Accounting

  • Must have appropriate SOCPA Membership

  • 10+ years accounting and department start-up experience

  • Healthcare and Medical background – preferably Diagnostics

  • OTL and GPRR process and accounting experience
