Responsibilities

Reporting to the Asia Geozone IES (Interpretation and Evaluation Services) Manager, the candidate will be responsible for well log QAQC, processing and interpretation of data acquired from open hole and cased hole instruments and presenting the results to customers and/or sales engineers. The candidates main job function will be in the processing and interpretation of open hole logs and tools including formation testing, as well as providing the cased hole evaluation data and other reservoir petrophysical measurements. They will also be responsible for generating final log plots, reports, conversion of data into other formats and archival of completed work, preparing the technical publications, participating in the conferences, and presenting the results to client in technical discussions.

  • Provide logs QAQC, processing & analysis of open hole and cased hole static and dynamic data evaluation for Wireline well log data.

  • Provide interpretations for petrophysical deliverables or production and reservoir evaluation using a combination of different product line disciplines and services.

  • Generate log print, reports and deliver final deliverables to customer.

  • Maintain timely data archiving and storage.

  • Provide the Technical and Sales support and presentations to client.

  • Active participation and publication of results in technical society and events.

  • Meet deadlines and be available for rotational 24 hour on call duty if required.

  • Support Operations and Sales on daily basis.

  • Have a regional mobility upon request and able to travel for trainings.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or Geosciences

  • 3-7 years of related oil field experience. Preferable in open or cased hole log operation, reservoir engineering, production log analysis and geology.

  • Good presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex issues.

  • Be a self-starter and eager to learn in the office environment.

  • Be familiar with Microsoft Office products and reservoir evaluation software.

  • Coding skills will be a plus.

  • Ability to adapt positively to changes in policies, procedures, priorities or work environments.
