Your Job:

Director Finance professional responsible to manage the general accounting and budgeting functions for Methodist Medical Group to ensure that financial reporting needs are met and that financial statements present fairly, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and Methodist Medical Group policy, the results of medical group's operations. Also to manage the budgeting function and coordinate budgeting functions with the Methodist Health System. Also to supervise professional staffs including accountants, AR clerks and financial analysts. Evaluate, recommend, and implement improvements that contribute to increased efficiency of the Finance team. Supports and promotes the vision, mission, and strategic plans of Methodist Health System

Your Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance • CPA designation preferred. • Minimum of 3 years of fiscal management experience, preferred in medical group or healthcare organization. • Prefer experience with Lawson GL and Epic • Very strong proficiency using Microsoft Office products • Superior oral and written communication skills • Strong process orientation • Detail oriented, logical, and methodological approach to problem solving • Ability to provide vision and leadership • Ability to plan and schedule the work of others • Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments and employees in a team-oriented environment

• Communicate clearly and openly • Build relationships to promote a collaborative environment • Be accountable for your performance • Always look for ways to improve the patient experience • Take initiative for your professional growth • Be engaged and eager to build a winning team • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and financial management theories, principles, standards, methods, practices and terminology. • Knowledge of medical group’s financial and budgetary practices to develop annual budget, analyze financial data and patterns, and prepare financial statements. • Knowledge of various types of physician compensation plans, compensation theories, common market practices and fair market valuation principles • Knowledge of governmental and healthcare fiscal regulations and reporting requirements. • Management experience on managing of staffs and projects. • Strong analytic and presentation skills in analyzing, interpreting and reporting data to physicians and MedHealth executives. • Skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, identifying and resolving problems and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives. • Skill in evaluating organizational operations as they relate to policies, goals and objectives, costs, and rate levels. • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships. Ability to work collaboratively with Corp Finance and System Administration
