CTG Engineer in Richland, Washington

CTG is seeking to fill an Engineer position for our client in Richland, WA.

Location: Richland, WA

Duration: 12 months

Duties:

  • Provide engineering services and support for basic tasks requiring the application of engineering fundamentals in the design modification, operation, and independent assessment of facilities.

  • Perform basic analysis and designs in support of systems, programs, and projects.

  • Resolve problems through plant processes.

  • Assist in audits, tests, and inspections, utilizing engineering judgment to evaluate results or findings.

  • Develop engineering designs, construction documents, specifications, and evaluations of existing systems.

  • Support systems, programs, audits, inspections, and assessments through engineering methods and analysis, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Provide technical leadership on complex and extended programs and projects.

  • Ensure effective coordination with other departments and disciplines.

Skills:

  • Ability to select and apply engineering principles, practices, and theories.

  • Proficiency in commonly applied engineering approaches and calculations.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for addressing complex engineering challenges.

  • Effective communication skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Technical leadership and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Computer proficiency to develop engineering designs.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience in a relevant discipline.

  • Technical expertise in designing, modifying, and assessing engineering projects.

  • Experience in commercial electrical engineering with knowledge of arc flash and medium-voltage distribution is preferred.

  • Background in other engineering disciplines is encouraged.

Education:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university or a PE license obtained through an accredited examination.

  • WA state PE license preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $46.79 to $65.89. Salary offers are based on various factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market conditions, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. A competitive benefits package is also offered.
