Machine Operator 

PeopleReady of Richmond, IN is now hiring Machine Operators! As a Machine Operator, you will perform all production duties such as packaging, labeling, sorting, taping, and other task using different production machinery.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $16 / hour + DOE

What you'll be doing as a Machine Operator:

• Perform all production duties such as packaging, labeling, sorting, taping, and other tasks that may be requested

• Follow instructions on how to setup prior to running job

• Assist in all preventative maintenance when necessary including lubrication, replacement of small parts/rollers, and cleaning of the press.

• Perform line clearance procedures

• Assist the Pressman with washing the press and running the press.

• Assess all products to meet quality specifications

• Follow process on proper handling and disposal of chemicals.

• Ensure all quality checks are met in a timely manner

• Understands the complete operation of the gluer feeder, input and output

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 2ns shift (Evening)

Job requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal skills

• Ensure all safety rules and regulations are followed

• Must be detailed oriented and organized

• Maintain the work area so that it is neat and orderly

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Mechanically inclined

• Must be able to pass a color blindness evaluation

• Background check and Drug test required
