Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Data Reporting Analyst in the Real Estate & Property industry. The role is based in Richmond, Virginia, United States. As a Data Reporting Analyst, you will be tasked with analyzing, designing, and maintaining reporting solutions across various business units. You will work closely with business leaders, engineers, and other analysts to enhance legacy reporting and utilize data visualizations to generate valuable business insights.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and engineers to comprehend and address data and reporting challenges and opportunities.

• Translate business requirements into data prerequisites and report specifications, including process modifications and necessary changes.

• Design comprehensive reporting solutions, including reports, dashboards, scorecards, and tabular data based on specific requirements.

• Utilize SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) to develop and maintain reports.

• Employ Visual studio and Report Builder to create and deploy SSRS reports.

• Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to support reporting needs.

• Assess report requests to ensure alignment with business needs rather than presumptive requirements.

• Identify and recommend optimizations for redundant or unnecessary data points in requested reports.

• Reconcile and validate data discrepancies across multiple sources.

• Debug and resolve report and query errors.

• Document and catalog current reporting.

• Perform complex data mining exercises independently and interpret results using various analytical methods.

• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve user issues related to data, reporting, and analytics.

• Provide process improvement suggestions and critical metrics feedback to management.

• Participate in projects and QA Testing.

• Assist in executing project and performance criteria as required. Requirements • Proficiency in Apache Spark is expected for handling large amounts of data.

• Experience with Atlassian Jira for efficient project management and issue tracking.

• Demonstrable expertise in BusinessObjects Technologies for enterprise reporting.

• Familiarity with Erwin Data for data modeling and database design.

• Ability to conduct Gap Analysis to identify performance shortcomings and areas of improvement.

• Experience in AB Testing to optimize product performance and user experience.

• Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology for streamlined project management.

• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

• Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) tools for data analysis and reporting.
