JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Details Job Location Ripon - Ripon, WI Position Type Hourly - Production Job Shift 2nd Shift- Evening Description Job Summary: Readies roll and sheet stock in support of the presses. Monitors accuracy of all stock inventory. Monitors required stock and does slitting as needed on a daily basis. Coordinates stock deliveries and appointments. Primary Responsibilities: Operates clamp truck. Informs Web Press Department Supervisor and/or Maintenance Department of any mechanical problems that develop. Make stock ready for all presses. Must communicate directly with press Crew Leaders, 1st Operators, and Press crew members in a positive manner. Manage stock deliveries from the trucks to the warehouse. Check for damage while unloading, make the appropriate annotations on that stock and associated paper work, and reports this to Supervisor or Manager. Keep warehouse organized, clean, and aisles easily identifiable. Keeps stock inventory accurate, both physically and electronically. Efficiently operates Cameron roll slitter/rewinder when needed. Efficiently change forklift batteries. Follows all required safety procedures such as, PPEs, Ergonomics, Chemical Hazards, etc. Performs job in a manner that protects the health and safety of all employees. When caught up with readying, moving, or tending to roll and sheet stock, will perform other duties as directed by his/her Supervisor. Some which may include: Band racks of roll cores Compact plate boxes/racks and change when full. Help with press duties. Remove bales of scrap paper from balers. Coordinate Press Crews\' stock needs daily. Takes in-coming calls from truckers with regards to scheduling deliveries & giving directions. Works closely with Purchasing and Scheduling; monitoring Inventory and Stock Required daily. Works closely with all other Roll Tenders as far as Training and communicating/delegating Web and Sheet Press stock needs. As directed. Qualifications: Good math skills. Ability to pass clamp and fork truck skills test and operate efficiently and safely. Accurate record keeping. Good Communication skills. Works well with others. Positive and pleasant attitude. Open minded, looks outside the box, and strives for continuous improvement. Basic computer skills - computers used on a daily basis. Physical Demands/Work Environment Must be able to lift and move materials weighing between 30 and 75 pounds. Must be able to use hands for a variety of repetitive material handling tasks about 90% of an 8-hour shift constantly. Kneel and squat to do work on an occasional basis.
