Job Title: Certified Medical AssistantJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated and certified Medical Assistant to join our primary care clinic. The successful candidate will manage customer flow throughout the clinic and assist providers in the management and treatment of patients from various age demographics. This role involves receiving direction and collaborating with the Clinic Supervisor, Clinic Manager, and Providers to meet defined goals. Effective communication with the healthcare team regarding progress, concerns, questions, or problems is essential.
Responsibilities
Manage customer flow throughout the clinic.
Assist providers in the management and treatment of patients.
Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient progress, concerns, questions, or problems.
Perform phlebotomy and triage duties.
Conduct patient rooming and take vitals.
Perform assessments and document medical history.
Essential Skills
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically Epic
Proficiency in phlebotomy and triage
Ability to conduct rooming and take vitals
Strong assessment skills
Medical history documentation
Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Diploma from a nationally recognized program
Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends or on-call shifts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $54080.00/yr.
