Remote work as discussed with managerSUMMARY As a Registered Dietitian, your exceptional nutritional knowledge allows patients to receive appropriate, high quality diet plans essential to the best nutritional care.STATUS: Full Time, 37.5 hours LOCATION: Unity Living CenterDEPARTMENT: Food and NutritionSCHEDULE: Monday-Friday days, hybrid work scheduleATTRIBUTESBachelors Degree in Nutrition or related field requiredRegistered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (either in place or received within 6 months of hire)One (1) to three (3) years of experience preferredStrong analytical, computer and communication skillsExceptional customer service and patient careRESPONSIBILITIES Assessment. Complete nutritional assessments for all patients; provide input into Nutritional Support Service rounds for assigned patients; monitor and document patient progressDiet Planning. Provide recommendations for formulations, rate and volume for all tube fed and TPN patients; instruct patients and families on special diets and general good nutrition; complete diet instructions for complex dietsPatient Care. Develop plan of care per clinical data, interview, diagnosis and treatment goals; provide oversight to dietetic technicians in providing patient careEDUCATION: BS (Required)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist - Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND)PAY RANGE: $27.00 - $36.29 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants.
