The health services that became theAnthony L Jordan Health Corporation (http://www.jordanhealth.org/) (Jordan Health) began more than 100 years ago, in 1904. As one of the first 5 Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) established in the nation, its roots are steeped in service to those who face barriers to health and health care, meeting their need for comprehensive medical, dentistry, behavioral health, and community services. Starting in northeast Rochester, NY, Jordan Health has since expanded to become a network of primary care offices and health centers serving residents living in three quadrants ofRochester, NY (http://www.city-data.com/city/Rochester-New-York.html) and in Canandaigua, N.Y.

Jordan Health is now seeking aHuman Resource Generalistwho, under the guidance of the Director of Human Resources, is primarily responsible for supporting Jordan Health’s Human Resource department in all functions including, benefits administration, employee relations, staffing, and special projects.

Requirements

TheHuman Resource Generalistwill ensure that:

· Jordan Health stakeholders receive optimum care through the effective execution of established processes and programs that reinforce the desired culture.

· Jordan Health is on track to develop a learning culture in which organizational values, systems and practices support and encourage both individuals and the organization, to increase knowledge, competence and performance levels on an ongoing basis.

· Talent management decisions are driven by data and analytics.

· Jordan Health’s HR records are fully compliant with the requirements of all regulating bodies.

Education And Experience Required:

· Bachelors’ Degree

· 3-5 years directly related HR experience including demonstrated people-intensive service delivery experience required

· HRIS familiarity

· Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

· Ability to write, speak, and interact clearly and professionally

· Can handle sensitive information with extreme confidentiality

· Ability to travel throughout Jordan Health sites

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Special Skills, Knowledge Required:

Knowledge Of:

· Thorough knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and procedures related to benefits, payroll, compensation, and classifications; compliance issues and practical application (e.g. EEO, Wage/Hour, FMLA, Workers Compensation, etc.)

· Employee relations and personnel support

· Foster a diverse, multicultural, success-oriented workplace

· Experience/understanding in researching and managing survey submissions

· Understanding of data benchmarking

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Familiarity with Ellucian Banner (HRIS) a plus

Salary Description

$65,600-$69,240/ANNUALLY
