The Siemens Industry, Inc. distribution center in Roebuck, SC is seeking an Busway Assembly Joint Stack Operator, to be an integral member of a diverse and dynamic team. As a Busway Assembler Joint Stack Operator , you will Assemble or modify electromechanical equipment (BN, etc.) with the use of mechanical tools and blueprints. Responsibilities

In this position you will:

  • Assemble standard Sentron products according to standard procedures.

  • Perform repetitive assembly operations to include: Placing parts in specified relationship to each other, fastening component parts on frames, subassemblies, or unit assemblies;bolt, screw, fasten parts together using hand tools or powered tools; test and adjust as necessary.

  • Process work orders (with the use of computers, scanning devices, etc.) in adherence to the production schedule or expedited orders.

  • Gather parts and accessories required in the assembly process.

  •  Report non-conforming items.

  • Clean and maintain equipment and work area to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions.

  • Verify that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.

You will have impact if you have the following minimum qualifications:

· High School Diploma required, state recognized GED or state recognized high school proficiency exam

· 1+ years of experience in Manufacturing or Assembly

· Ability to read blueprints.

· Basic Computer Skills, and the use of basic mechanical/measuring tools

· Reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs, and push/pull/slide heavy material and make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills (but not required)

  • Wiring experience and technical aptitude a plus.

  • Working experience in Busway products is a plus

  • SAP knowledge to complete Confirmations and Reports is a plus
