Take the next step in your career at Spectro Alloys, an EGA company. We have an immediate opening for an Industrial Electrician to join our growing team in Rosemount, MN. Previous experience in a fast-paced industrial/production environment is highly preferred. 3rd year Electrician apprentices with industrial equipment experience are encouraged to apply! Apprentices must be eligible to take the MN journeyman electrician licensure exam within 90 days of hire. Financial assistance is available for licensure fees upon successful exam completion. Earning Potential Over $80,000/year -Hourly base wage commensurate with experience -Guaranteed biweekly productivity bonus incentive for the first 90 days -Market-leading productivity incentives of up to $6/hour! -Opportunities for overtime -Develop your technical skills in a modern facility and in a culture that promotes from within -Pride in a feel-good industry -Weekly paychecks Work Schedule: -Monday through Friday, choice of 8-10-hr shift -On-call availability outside of scheduled hours The Industrial Electrician is responsible for preventative maintenance and electrical repairs on plant equipment. This individual will also ensure safe work practices, quality, and accuracy and maintain thorough service work records. Company-furnished hand and power tools are provided for day-to-day work. Job Duties: -Perform preventative maintenance on the mechanical and electrical systems of plant equipment -Inspect 3-Phase wiring and assess the electrical components of rolling and portable equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveying systems, and various motor controls -Troubleshoot mechanical equipment problems and repair electrical issues with production machinery -Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks to ensure the safe operation of plant equipment -Maintain accurate, thorough, and up-to-date documentation of service work records -Communicate with the production team and maintain a clean, safe work area
