About Atlantic Street Pet Emergency Center (PEC) by Ethos Veterinary Health: Atlantic Street Pet Emergency Center is open 24 hours a day and is staffed by a team of highly skilled, compassionate veterinarians and veterinary technicians who are extensively trained in emergency medicine and intensive care.  We are committed to work closely with the family and family veterinarians in providing the best care for your pet.

About the Job: As a Registered Veterinary Technician you will be responsible for:

• Inpatient Nurse

• Hospitalized patients

• Order labs and x-rays

• Communicate with DOD

• Attend doctor rounds

• Organize treatment plans

• Down time-Advice calls; CE; documentation; verify treatment plans/invoices; assist in area of need

• Responsibilities- Isolation  

• End of shift- Documentation; verify CPR codes; treatments completed through 6:00 AM; transfer patients

  Schedule: 

• Hiring bonus

• Overnight position that includes $4.00/hour differential 

• 12 hours shifts; 36 hours per week

• Thursday-Saturday 5:00 PM-6:00 AM

  About You:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is required.

  Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Veterinary Technician in an animal hospital setting required. Recent graduates with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology will be considered.

• Proficiency in processing basic laboratory specimens and working knowledge of radiographic techniques is required.

• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community.
