Deloitte Project Delivery Specialist in Sacramento, California

Work you'll do

As a Project Delivery Specialist in the Technology group you will:

  • Support Implementation and Operations Management best practices while taking ownership of tasks and/or project workstreams and guiding more junior professionals

  • Contribute to deliverables and review the work of others for quality and accuracy

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the client environment and overall project scope

  • Develop and maintain custom applications, coding, and testing to support the state eligibility system.

  • Gather and analyze business requirements for eligibility determination processes for programs.

  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly defined and understood.

  • Design, code, test, and debug software applications according to the defined requirements and design specifications.

  • Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure the system meets the defined requirements and functions correctly.

  • Document all development activities, including code changes, testing procedures, and results.

  • Ensure all requirements and design deliverables are reviewed and approved by the client before beginning the development phase.

  • Utilize Deloitte Consulting's approved consulting tools and methodologies to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.

  • Maintain version control and manage code commits using tools.

  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.

  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely and effective implementation of enhancements/defects.

  • Complete project engagements within scope and budget while meeting deliverable requirements.

With end-users, customers, and workers at the center, we collaborate with our clients to deliver quality human services and work to support individuals in need. Some areas that we focus on include Children Services, Eligibility & Enrollment, Child Support Enforcement, and Labor & Workforce Development.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5 or more years of consulting and/or industry experience

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,875 to $163,125.
