Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Sacramento, California, 95815, United States. This role involves performing a variety of accounting duties within the corporate sector. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing customer applications, and resolving customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

• Maintenance of precise customer credit records

• Handling of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Conducting bank reconciliations and general ledger tasks

• Preparation and posting of journal entries

• Execution of month end close procedures

• Proficient use of QuickBooks and Sage 100, including Sage MAS 90

• Training staff on using Sage MAS 90 for payables, receivables, and journal entries

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action as required Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with General Ledger maintenance and management

• Ability to prepare and post Journal Entries

• Experience with Month End Close processes

• Proficiency in QuickBooks software

• Experience with Sage 100 and Sage MAS 90 software

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask

• Professionalism and ethical behavior

• Familiarity with current financial regulations and standards

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
