Job Title: Journeyman Plumber

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Journeyman Plumber to manage plumbing repairs, maintenance, and new construction in an industrial manufacturing facility. The role includes troubleshooting industrial plumbing and piping systems, and reviewing building plans and specifications to determine the layout and troubleshooting for piping systems, piping controls, and related components. Comfort working with PCS, steel, carbon, and other types of piping and pipe systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing repairs, maintenance, and new construction in an industrial manufacturing facility.

• Troubleshoot industrial plumbing and piping systems.

• Review building plans and specifications to determine layout and troubleshooting for piping systems and related components.

• Work with PCS, steel, carbon, and other types of piping and pipe systems.

Essential Skills

• Journeyman or Master Plumber License.

• 4+ years of plumbing experience, specifically in an industrial setting.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting plumbing and piping systems.

• Experience with plumbing, fire protection, and pipe fitting.

• Ability to bend conduit and install piping systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Backflow certification.

• Experience with construction, electrical, and blueprint reading.

• Skills in brazing, mechanical work, and threading.

Work Environment

The position is located in the GM Flint Plant. Work hours vary by shift: 1st Shift (7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri), 2nd Shift (3pm-11:30pm Mon-Fri), 3rd Shift (11pm-7:30am Mon-Fri), 4th Shift (Fri: 7am-3:30pm, Sat & Sun: 7am-7:30pm, Mon: 7am-3:30pm), and 5th Shift (Fri: 11pm-7:30am, Sat & Sun: 7pm-7:30am, Mon: 11pm-7:30am).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $72800.00/yr.
