Job Description

We are seeking a Direct hire - Senior Field Engineer with home base in St. Louis MO. You will travel about 3 hour radius to job sites, but there can be travel to other areas if there are large outages. This role is within Power distribution, specifically working with Switchgears. The Field Engineer develops practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals of their customers.

As the Field Engineer, you will:

 Perform duties in Power Delivery, Medium & Low Voltage Electrification, Drive systems, Control Systems, etc.

 Serve as the primary on-site representative

 Preserve Safety Culture on every aspect and as first priority, in the field and always keeping an eye on co-workers.

 Perform duties as the Project Manager for all assigned product lines and assist the customer with technical understanding of the operation, maintenance, and trouble-shooting of multiple types of products

 Assist customer with spare parts ordering, issues resolution, and provisioning.

Skills and Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a field engineering role including a minimum of 3 years of experience performing power systems analysis and a minimum of 1 year of experience in customer support and the development of successful customer relationships. If not experience, degree as an electrical engineer or an electrician

-Ability and willingness to travel daily in the field.

-Demonstrated proficiency in repair troubleshooting, shop operations, and testing of assigned programs / hardware.

• Must have experience with various electrical controls (power delivery) and systems to include:

o Mid-Voltage Switchgear

o Low-Voltage Switchgear

o Power Panels & Motor Control Center

o Generators & Transformers Maintenance

o Automatic Transfer Switches

o Electromechanical Repairs

o Wiring Diagrams: one line electrical drawings

o Blueprints & Schematics

o Test Equipment & Instruments

• High pot testing, working Powerhouses, or E- houses, GIS (gas insulated breakers) Relay Testing & installation
