Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer (ME) to support our client's aerospace defense programs in St. Louis. This role will focus on developing detailed planning and work instructions using Model-Based Definition (MBD) practices to ensure efficient, high-quality production of the T7-A aircraft. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and design engineering, to support assembly processes and resolve manufacturing challenges.

Job Duties:

• Create, review, and maintain detailed work instructions and manufacturing plans for the T7-A assembly process, leveraging Model-Based Definition (MBD) methodologies.

• Collaborate with production teams to ensure instructions are clear, accurate, and aligned with MBD-driven engineering specifications.

• Analyze and interpret technical data, including MBD datasets, 3D models, and annotations, to support planning efforts.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in aerospace or defense industries, with hands-on expertise in Model-Based Definition (MBD).

• Proficiency in creating work instructions and manufacturing plans using MBD practices.

• Experience with CAD software, ideally CATIA and SolidWorks)

• Skills interpreting 3D annotated models.

• Project planning tracking and deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills (nice to have but not required)

• Familiarity with T7-A production processes and Boeing-specific engineering systems.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines.
