Robert Half Accounts Payable Administrator II in Saint Petersburg, Florida

Description

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator II to join our team in St. Petersburg, FL. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for handling accounts payable transactions, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries in a fast-paced environment. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications

• Maintain up-to-date customer credit records

• Electronically process accounts payable transactions through SAP FUSION Wise or Canada platform

• Work collaboratively with buyers, vendors, and various business partners to resolve parked and blocked invoices

• Respond to internal and external customer inquiries including vendor statement reconciliation and procurement issues

• Assist in special projects that impact our shared services working environment and overall business goals

• Contribute to the upkeep of a fast-paced work environment, assisting team members when needed

• Utilize your proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working knowledge of VLOOKUP and pivot tables, for various tasks

• Ensure compliance with approved policies and procedures

• Handle high volumes of invoices accurately and efficiently.

Requirements • Proven experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is essential.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, especially Microsoft Excel, is required.

• Ability to handle procedures and policy related to accounts payable.

• Understanding of compliance in relation to accounts payable is necessary.

• Experience with invoice processing and payment processing.

• Familiarity with 'About Time' and other ERP Solutions.

• Experience with reconciliations and dealing with vendors.

• Knowledge of procurement and buying processes.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Understanding of tax related to accounts payable.

• Ability to lead special projects and offer creative solutions when required.

• Proficiency in using Pivot Table and VLOOKUP is a must.

• Ability to work with business partners and templates.

• Willingness to work overtime when required.

• Experience with vendor management and procurement.

• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and tools.
