CAE USA INC EOI - B350 / KA350 Simulator Flight Instructor in Sale, Australia

About This Role

This is an Expression of Interest for a B350/KA350 Simulator Pilot Instructor, which is responsible to the Manager, Training Capability for the preparation, delivery, assessment, maintenance and evaluation of training and assessment materials and operational requirements of the training devices supported.

This role will be located in Sale, Victoria.

The role we are offering you

  • Conduct flight crew training events for customer pilots during the ground and full flight simulator phase of training at local and remote sites

  • Conduct comprehensive briefings and debriefings to ensure that the customer pilot is aware of expected and actual performance

  • Coordinate with simulator maintenance technicians to report identified simulator problems or malfunctions

  • Complete all initial and recurrent training activities required to establish and maintain licencing, qualification and instructor standardisation as required by CAE and/or regulatory authorities

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Hold (or gain) a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 / TAE40122) or recognised equivalent experience

  • B350/1900 (KA350) type rating

  • Ability to obtain CAE instructor approval and rating

  • Hold or have held an Instrcutor Rating or Military Equivalent or experience in Check and Training

Security requirements

As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
