Job Title: Quality Control Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Control Technician to work on the manufacturing floor, pulling samples off finished and in-process batches. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in quality control, chemistry, and quality assurance, and will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the required specifications and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
Actively participate in safety programs and perform daily checklists and 5S participation.
Follow company safety regulations and report safety issues.
Maintain Lab 5S for a clean and tidy working environment.
Hold safety huddles and meetings.
Perform tests to ensure raw materials and production batches comply with specifications or customer requirements.
Provide adjustment recommendations to production.
Communicate customer special requirements among Sales, Lab, and Production teams.
Issue on-hold requests and follow up on corrective/preventive actions.
Issue Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and color panels for customers.
Maintain accurate and traceable Quality Control records.
Verify customer complaints and respond with investigation results.
Implement corrective/preventive actions and continual improvement actions.
Maintain valid QC standards and retains.
Maintain and calibrate lab test equipment and tools.
Maintain lab work statistical data and issue daily/monthly QC reports.
Conduct internal training and evaluate position training.
Attend assigned training courses actively.
Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager.
General cleanup and maintaining good housekeeping.
Consolidation and organization of the Lab and related areas.
Understand and comply with HSE standards, waste management system, Product Stewardship procedure, distribution and road safety requirements, incident reporting, product SDS (MSDS), and proper PPE related HMIS system.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.37 - $22.31/hr.
