GovCIO Sr. Contracts Associate in Salem, Oregon

Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Senior Contracts Administrator with GSA Schedule experience to support our government prime contracts. This position will be fully remote within the United States.

Responsibilities

The Senior Contracts Administrator will Administer, extend, negotiate and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts. They will also conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with Company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.

In addition, the Senior Contracts Administrator will:

  • Examine estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Prepare bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advise management of contractual rights and obligations; compile and analyze data; and maintain historical information.

  • Monitor company performance for conformance to original proposal and maintain continual reviews to ensure that all terms and conditions are met and that the contract is in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations.

  • Prepare and disseminate information throughout the company regarding contract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation, and termination.

  • Initiate documentation to authorize and direct work in accordance with contractual specifications.

  • Review solicitations and prepares responses for proposals, bids, and contract modifications.

  • Analyzes contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies and business unit procedures.

  • Drafts and negotiates contractual instruments commensurate with skills and grade level.

  • Prepares, organizes and maintains contract records and files documenting contract performance and compliance.

  • Works with internal or external representatives on issues and developments relative to assigned contracts.

  • Works closely with business units to provide guidance and support for GSA schedules, including maintaining pricing, adding LCATS or SINS, and schedule maintenance.

  • Serves as GSA Schedule contract manager for all schedule maintenance, including submitting documentation timely in the GSA Systems to include eMod, eOffer, GSA Mass Mod System, GSA ASSIST, GSA Symphony, and GSA Advantage.

  • Serves as company POC for GSA Schedules audits and provides timely responses to data calls.

  • Provides subject matter expertise recommendations and assistance to GovCIO internal customers seeking to utilize GSA Schedules.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5-8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 3+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of relevant experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.

  • Experience managing GSA schedules.

  • Experience in government contracting and related functions with particular emphasis on negotiation, administration, and contract performance management.

  • Strong knowledge of federal contracting as well as a strong grasp of negotiation techniques.

  • Strong business acumen.

  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Working knowledge of the FAR and DFARS.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships internally and externally.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Comfortable working with executives and representing functional plans and priorities to senior leaders.

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $71,150.00 - USD $113,850.00 /Yr.
