Job Summary and Qualifications

1. • Maintain SMA Net Revenue Exhibits on monthly basis.

2. *Develops prices for all new services and/or technologies implemented by the Medical Center; routinely completes price comparisons and recommends price adjustments.

3. *Reviews the reconciliation of all distributed systems charge masters on a current basis; reviews and adjusts charge descriptions to enhance public understanding and comply with Medicare regulations.

4. *Develops cost analysis and comparisons by product line & physician.

5. *Monitors costs relative to all pricing as well as product lines and makes recommendations relative to price changes.

6. *Maintains price information of competitors; compares the Medical Center’s prices on a regular basis and investigates reasons for price differences.

7. *Processes inter-company and intra-company accounts on a monthly basis.

8. *Runs Business Objects queries and performs data analysis as needed.

9. *Prepares various reports per request of the CFO/CEO.

10. *Performs other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE

Required - Must possess technical & analytical skills for accounting as well as personal computer skills.

Preferred - Two to three years of hospital accounting, experience using a computerized cost accounting system in a healthcare setting and establishing pricing.

EDUCATION

Required - Undergraduate degree in Accounting.
