Summary

We are recruiting for a Compensation Manager focused on Technology & Analytics. This position is the subject matter expert for the technology used to support competitive and equitable compensation programs to attract, retain, and motivate a high-performing, diverse workforce to execute our business strategy and enhance Perdue's profitability, brand, and value. Manages systems to support compensation processes such as the annual compensation review in the SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay modules (merit, STI, and LTI), system administration for external benchmarking in Payscale Market Pay, and deferred compensation administration. Responsible for compensation analytics and reporting to the business (e.g., financial modeling, accruals and other financial reports).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leads process execution within the Company’s compensation technology: SAP SuccessFactors Compensation module (annual merit) and Variable Pay module (STI & LTI); market pricing and survey participation within Payscale Market Pay; deferred compensation within Principal

  • Partners with HRIS team to ensure accurate system configurations and data integrations to all comp tools

  • Actively participates in the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) to ensure successful build and implementation of all compensation-related data requirements, architecture, and workflows

  • System administrator for JDXpert and will partner with HR to determine ongoing business need and future deployment

  • Builds modeling tools, dashboards, macros, etc to facilitate robust data analysis and reporting

  • Designs and delivers comp system training for HR and managers

  • Provides accruals and other compensation reporting to finance as required

  • May play a role in future workforce planning / budgeting initiatives to be determined

Minimum Education and Experience Required

Education : Bachelor's degree Human Resources, Business Administration, IT, Finance, or related discipline

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years compensation and/or HRMS experience

  • Demonstrated project management experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of HCM systems, particularly SAP SuccessFactors

  • Prior experience with SAP SuccessFactors compensation modules and SaaS market pricing solutions

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills (High proficiency)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (High proficiency)

  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint (High proficiency)

  • Knowledge of compensation principles and procedures

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

  • Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.

  • May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.

  • May need to access files, supplies and equipment.

  • Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
