Description

We currently have an open position for a well-organized and motivated Legal Secretary. We are seeking a Legal Secretary that is accurate in their work and takes initiative, they will be over the following:

Provide administrative support to one or more attorneys, including drafting, formatting, editing, and proofreading legal documents with meticulous attention to detail

• Maintain the efficiency of all office procedures and case management to ensure reliability and consistency

• Calendar management, electronic file management, document preparation, filing in both State and Federal Court, and scheduling

• Coordinate the intake process, including opening claims, sending representation letters, setting up medical appointments, and managing client communications

• Interact with medical providers, clients, and insurance companies to gather necessary documentation and information

• Conduct research, prepare documents, and maintain accurate records

  Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and legal technology, including court-filing computer systems and case management programs

• Previous experience in administrative roles within a legal environment

• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, be detail oriented, hard-working, enthusiastic, team oriented, and a critical thinker
