Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity in Salt Lake City, Utah. The role is for a Sr. Accountant in the accounting industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger management.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting detailed account reconciliation and rectifying any discrepancies

• Handling balance sheet reconciliation tasks to ensure financial accuracy

• Managing bank reconciliations to verify the company's financial records

• Overseeing the general ledger and ensuring all entries are accurate

• Processing journal entries as part of the financial reporting process

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze financial data

• Assisting with the month end close process to finalize financial reports

• Leveraging BlackLine tools for automated account reconciliation and financial close management. Requirements • Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or relevant role

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process

• Prior experience with bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations

• Proficiency in account reconciliation and journal entries

• Familiarity with financial software, particularly BlackLine

• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity

• Ability to handle confidential information

• Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is located

• Willingness to continue learning and improving accounting skills
