Our client, a leader in the research and development sector, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: San Antonio, TX 100% onsite

Pay Range: $19 to 23 per hour on W-2

Duration: 12 month contract

Responsibilities:

• Lead testing for specific projects, collaborating with senior engineers to develop, test, and validate re-qualification methods for existing products.

• Execute new and established test methods to conduct physical, optical, and mechanical analyses on films, adhesives, non-woven materials, tapes, and dressing products.

• Provide support to method developers by maintaining clear communication regarding test results, equipment functionality, and workload progress.

• Analyze sample properties and evaluate performance accuracy, documenting and reporting findings to method developers and cross-functional teams as required.

• Prepare and finalize technical engineering documents, including Test Methods, Test Reports, and Test Protocols.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in a science or engineering-related field, with relevant experience in a regulated technical role or hands-on laboratory work through education.

• Proficiency in technical documentation and scientific writing.

• Familiarity with laboratory instruments and adherence to lab safety protocols.

• Strong ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

• Experience with MS Office applications.
