Description

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk for our client in San Diego, California. In this position, you will play a crucial role in the accounting department, handling tasks such as processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and addressing inquiries. You will also monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Process and post client setup, fees, and payments using designated payment systems.

• Collaborate with the finance team on billing matters.

• Handle client refund requests submitted by service managers.

• Manage client payment records and maintain up-to-date documentation.

• Provide service managers with reports on outstanding payments and process adjustments as needed.

• Generate and deliver client invoices to the local post office at the start of each month.

• Answer phone inquiries to provide program information and assist clients with payment or billing questions.

• Maintain client lists for billing purposes.

  Requirements

• Proficient in accounting tasks with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.

• Excellent computer and technology skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• High school diploma or GED required; accounting experience preferred.

• A dedicated team player who collaborates effectively and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
