Those in data science and machine learning engineering at PwC will focus on leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to extract insights from large datasets and drive data-driven decision making. You will work on developing predictive models, conducting statistical analysis, and creating data visualisations to solve complex business problems.

The Opportunity
As part of the Data and Analytics Engineering team, you lead the development of predictive models and analytics initiatives to drive business growth. As a Manager, you guide team members and manage stakeholders using data and insights, supporting project success and maintaining exemplary standards. You collaborate with data engineering and business intelligence teams to automate data pipelines, apply technical knowledge in statistical and machine learning modeling, and deliver actionable insights to business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Lead the creation and implementation of predictive models to support business objectives
Guide and mentor team members in data-driven decision-making processes
Manage stakeholder relationships to secure alignment and project success
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline data workflows
Apply proficiency in statistical and machine learning techniques to solve complex problems
Deliver insights that inform strategic business decisions
Maintain adherence to exemplary standards in deliverables
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
What You Must Have
Bachelor's Degree
3 years of experience
What Sets You Apart
Master's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering preferred
Leading analytics initiatives and building predictive models
Running multivariate regressions and causal inference analysis
Collaborating with data engineering and business intelligence teams
Applying technical knowledge in statistical and machine learning modeling
Developing business insights using data and statistical inference
Acting as a subject specialist overseeing technical projects
Delivering insights to distill complex analytics into actionable insights
Proficient in SQL, Python, PySpark, and machine learning frameworks

The salary range for this position is: $85,000 - $117,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
