We are in the search for an accounting clerk to become an integral part of our team in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will be tasked with handling customer applications, maintaining precise customer records, and addressing customer queries. Your role will also involve monitoring the status of customer accounts and taking necessary actions. This opening offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications

• Maintain precise records of customer credit

• Handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally

• Monitor the status of customer accounts regularly

• Take necessary actions based on the status of customer accounts

• Utilize Quickbooks Online for various accounting tasks.

Requirements • Proven experience in an accounting or similar role is critical.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is essential.

• A strong understanding of financial and accounting principles is required.

• Must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong numerical skills are a must.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.

• The ability to work as part of a team and independently is crucial.

• Must have strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

• Attention to detail and accuracy are key requirements.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

• Relevant certification or qualification, such as ACCA or CPA, would be advantageous.

• Familiarity with financial regulations and standards is required.

• Must have a strong ethical stance, with the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
