Description We are offering a role for a Sr. Financial Analyst in the heart of San Jose, California. The role will involve high level financial analysis, strategic planning, communication, and reporting within our organization. This position is a contract employment opportunity for individuals with a knack for financial planning and forecasting in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support all expenses, headcount and non-headcount for G& A and other business organizations as needed.

• Identify risk and opportunities in routine forecast cadence.

• Drive annual operating plans, quarterly, monthly, weekly financial forecasts, and ongoing analysis of actuals versus plan and/or forecast.

• Manage the underlying financial planning models, systems, and tools.

• Support Business Partners to manage their budget and report on actuals vs forecast.

• Develop and monitor performance indicators/metrics, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances.

• Build, develop, and maintain detailed financial and operating models to help predict future performance.

• Perform scenario analyses, and guide the business on strategic decisions.

• Assist in other ad-hoc financial analysis as required. Requirements

• Proficiency in financial reporting and forecasting.

• Solid understanding of budget processes and financial planning.

• Ability to perform ad hoc financial analysis as required.

• Expertise in creating financial models.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Experience with metric reporting.

• Ability to communicate effectively with C-suite executives.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Proficiency in using 'About Time' software for efficient planning.

• Familiarity with creating charts and graphs for financial presentations.

• Knowledge of financial statement forecasting and expense reporting.

• Experience in providing financial consulting services.
