Who You'll Work With

You will be joining our Cisco Networking - Business Intelligence team, which plays a pivotal role in enabling the organization to make data-driven decisions. Our team consists of talented enthusiasts who collaborate to collect, analyze, and interpret data, transforming it into actionable insights that enhance the company's performance. As part of this team, you will work closely with General Managers, Senior Leadership, Product Management, Engineering, IT, and other departments.

What You'll Do:

We are seeking a Senior BI Leader to design, develop, and build robust BI solutions that empower General Managers, Senior Leadership, Product Management and Engineering teams to make data-driven decisions. This role involves leading a small team of Senior BI Analysts and addressing complex technical challenges using BI expertise. The candidate will extract and share valuable insights from large datasets, including unstructured, semi-structured, and structured data, with stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a strong software background, excels in an entrepreneurial environment, communicates effectively, and can architect, design, and develop enterprise-standard dashboards and data warehouse solutions.

Basic Qualification

  • 12+ years of experience in data and analytics roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial positions

  • 6+ years of experience developing data visualizations using Tableau

  • Ability to write advanced SQL, performance tuning of Queries/Dashboards

  • Experience data mining from multiple sources and build warehouse

  • Hands on experience with anyone programming languages like Python, R, etc

  • Ability to analyze unstructured / Semi structured data and derive insights

  • Bachelor or advanced degree in Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience in area of data science (e.g., machine learning, deep learning, NLP)

  • Experience in data preparation with ETL tools such as Alteryx or Talend or Tableau Prep

  • Expertise in optimizing BI Data architecture and Dashboards for better performance

  • Certification in Tableau / Data Science / Alteryx / Snowflake would be a plus

  • Strong leadership abilities, with a focus on mentoring and developing team members.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across organization, build relationships, and share ideas effectively to achieve broader organizational goals
