Stryker is seeking to hire a Senior Project Manager to support Stryker’s Endoscopy division. This role is hybrid, located in San Jose, CA. Candidates are expected to be on-site about 3 days per week. Endoscopy | Stryker (https://www.stryker.com/us/en/endoscopy.html)

What you will do:

As the Senior Project Manager, you will lead Commercial Operations in the planning and execution of business-critical projects for service new product development. This role requires you to work closely with Business Unit leadership stakeholders to ensure project objectives are appropriate, required project resources (budget and people) are allocated, and project risks are mitigated. You will be responsible for ensuring that project objectives are delivered on-time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Commercial Operations leadership, Divisional PMO and Cross Functional partners to define, manage and own service launches for new product development.

  • Develop and manage the detailed project/program Gantt chart. Analyze critical path, major workstreams, interdependencies, and intersecting milestones. Own the project/program schedule, create a shared vision for project team, and monitor plan vs. actual.

  • Manage the NPD portfolio for Commercial Operations of product launches that require servicing.

  • Act as the liaison between Commercial Operations, the Divisional PM and Cross-Functional partners to ensure service strategy alignment and successful service launches.

  • Coordinate within Commercial Operations to define strategy, determine deliverables, assign resources, and align on priorities.

  • Develop a Stakeholder engagement and communication plan for the projects, based on the identification, analysis and understanding of Stakeholder expectations and requirements.

  • Establish priorities, imparting a sense of urgency and importance to the team while using project management tools and techniques to support the delivery of new products per cost and time commit

  • Understands medical device quality system(s) and is accustomed to working in a regulated field.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or another technical space

  • Minimum 6+ years of successfully demonstrated project management and/or engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired):

  • Successful track record in the development, commercialization and sustainment of products

  • Experience working in operations or quality

  • PMP or equivalent

  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
