The Business Analyst III will facilitate the elicitation of, and document, business functional processes with a view to providing a link between the business requirements and the system analysis performed with the team. The business analysis function will document opportunities for improving business function in collaboration with BT and will be responsible for documenting business requirements and business process.

What You’ll Do

  • Leads business analysis efforts, drives developing business requirement definition and feature identification that will: close gaps, refine/streamline processes, increase efficiency and quality, reduce costs, eliminate waste, support auditing controls and compliance, educate clients, improve communication, and/or increase client satisfaction while striving to achieve department goals and objectives.

  • Consults with various subject matter experts from throughout the business (at all levels) to translate customer needs into business requirement documentation that can be presented to all levels of management, customers, development teams and vendors.

  • Works directly with vendors and IT to review solutions to address business requirements, complete detailed fit/gaps and support recommendations to sr. management.

  • Mentors other team members.

  • Assesses impact to current and future business processes and systems, assessing upstream & downstream effect of business and system.

  • Develops advanced reports and dashboards to drive decision-making.

  • Serves as a liaison between IT, various departments w/in Corp Services and various field locations.

  • Communicates with impacted and interested groups within Corp Services, Protiviti and various field locations.

  • Supports teamwork and solicit input from internal and external clients on processes, procedures, technology.

  • Conducts and facilitates management training sessions related to system enhancements or any changes made to processes, procedures, or policies.

  • May require onsite visits to field locations to conduct/facilitate management training sessions related system enhancements, auditing or compliance issues, or any changes made to processes, procedures, or policies.

  • Ensures a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers

  • Obtains admin-level platform certification to ensure understanding of platform capabilities and limitations.

  • Facilitates meetings with stakeholders and end users to gather feedback on potential solutions.

  • Performs basic configuration on non-production instance of platforms as needed to demonstrate potential solutions to stakeholders and IT partners.

  • Proposes basic solutions from a functional perspective, based on business and platform understanding.

  • Leads process optimization initiatives and supports change management efforts.

  • Acts as a trusted advisor, aligning business needs with technical solutions.

What You’ll Need

  • AA or Certification degree in related field or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of business functional area experience, including 5+ years’ experience with Business Applications.

  • MS Office Suite and complete SDLC experience.

  • Ability to document process and data flows.

  • Extensive in-depth knowledge of multiple enterprise applications.

  • Various project management methodologies experience.

  • Maintain functional knowledge of Salesforce and be able to map those capabilities to business issues.

  • Ability to interact and communicate with customers of varying levels of expertise.

  • Ability to communicate complex business information to partners and stakeholders.

  • Ability to communicate in-depth business processes to technical resources.

  • Ability to create very complex process flow diagrams or flowcharts that demonstrate business or system process flow.

  • Ability to gather requirements effectively; document requirements and confirm observations with Business owners Stakeholders and Senior Management.

  • Ability to perform fit/gap analysis on medium to large project initiatives.

  • Ability to write very complex queries and reports.

  • Ability to develop and manage multiple enterprise-wide project plans, meeting established deliverables and timelines.

  • Ability to execute based upon directions from senior team member.

  • Ability to provide guidance, mentoring, and day-to-day support to lower-level personnel.

  • Ability to conduct training.

  • Ability to create thorough and complex documentation.

  • Ability to facilitate, conduct meetings, gather information and present status.

  • Ability to design business solutions for new processes and new business practices.

  • Adaptability and demonstrated good judgment.

The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.

$92,000.00 - $135,000.00
