Actalent Hybrid Controls Engineer in Sandusky, Ohio

Below are some details about the position:
BENEFITS: YES
HYBRID SCHEDULE (Based on business needs. During training and ramp up you will need to be on-site more often than 2 days. Outside of that, 2 days on site and 3 days WFH will be typical)
Description:
50% of the role will be developing control systems; both modifying existing control systems and developing new control systems
20% of the role is keeping automation lines up and running; troubleshooting the machinery and supporting customers
Create new schematics, new BOMs, new programs, new applications
System level design
PLC and HMI development, exclusively Allen Bradley
Up to 20% travel for start-ups (usually a week per month)
MUST HAVES:
Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor's Degree is preferred
Ability to open CAD and review drawings / make redlines
3-5 + years of Controls Engineering experience
Extensive experience with Allen Bradley Rockwell PLCs
Experience programming from scratch, ideally from a systems integrator or OEM
Experience starting a controls system from scratch; blank slate
NICE TO HAVES:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field is STRONGLY preferred
