About being our Project Engineer / Civil Engineer - Site/Land Development

As a

Project Engineer / Civil Engineer to join our Land Development team in our Santa Ana, CA office, you will utilize your expertise and technical abilities to collaborate and contribute to the planning and design activities for a broad range of project assignments dealing with site development, roadway, traffic, hydrology and hydraulics, utilities and more for public, private and institutional clients, while working in a team-orientated setting and interacting with clients. The Santa Ana Engineering team is dynamic group of seasoned professionals. As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to work on technology driven high profile projects that prioritize sustainability.

Responsibility Highlights for our Project Engineer / Civil Engineer - Site/Land Development

  • Perform research and due diligence for various types of projects and analyze necessary aspects of the project to develop innovative, conceptual engineering solutions
  • Coordinate and meet with sub-consultants while managing or coordinating internal engineering, survey and environmental staff to adhere to project requirements, schedule and budget
  • Transform concept designs into construction drawings and technical specifications
  • Coordinate the design process while utilizing various software and programs
  • Conduct independent engineering calculations
  • Coordinate and process private and public projects with various agencies for planning and design approvals
  • Supervise/Coach/Mentor staff and coordinate with them for design efforts

Minimum Qualifications to be our Project Engineer / Civil Engineer - Site/Land Development

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of California
  • 5+ years of experience with skills to navigate multi-disciplined engineering projects
  • Working Knowledge in civil design utilizing AutoCAD Civil3D.
  • Strong technical knowledge with proven experience in preparing technical reports, designs, construction documents, specifications, and computations

  • A competitive salary! The expected range for this position is $97,000 - $130,000/salary depending on experience Compensation may be adjusted for well qualified candidates
