Job Title: Medical Device Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Device Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will work with electrical emitters inside balloon-delivered catheters. This position requires intensive microscope work, connecting electrodes, and performing various assembly tasks such as length cutting, sealing, crimping, and folding balloon catheters. You will be responsible for line clearance, setting up stations with the necessary materials, tools, and instructions, building subassemblies and final assemblies, and documenting all work details. Additionally, you will assist in the development of the next generation of products.
Responsibilities
Set up workstations with the required materials, tools, and instructions.
Build subassemblies and final assemblies based on detailed instructions.
Document all work performed on the lot.
Assist with the development of next-generation products.
Perform subassembly tasks such as installing wires within the shaft and marker band, manually crimping shafts and wires, cutting wires to length, and crimping inner sleeves.
Assemble inner emitters by placing them in the correct location and applying UV light and adhesive.
Inspect emitters using generators and micrometers.
Conduct final assembly tasks, including welding, forming RX ports, verifying lengths, hub assembly, leak testing, pleat and fold testing, heat sealing, and connector assembly.
Essential Skills
Experience with medical device assembly, particularly with balloon catheters.
Proficiency in using microscopes for detailed work.
Knowledge of GMP, MPI, LHR, and lot history record documentation.
Experience with UV curing and hotbox processes.
Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with true medical device class 3.
Ability to work with catheter assembly and balloon catheters.

Work Environment
Work in a regulated cleanroom environment with gowning room procedures for top-down PPE. This is a day shift position, Monday to Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Santa Clara, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
