Compensation: $180,000.00 - 185,000.00 annual salary (US Dollars)

The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program

Position Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing large-scale facility operations, leading a team of professionals, and maintaining strong, high-level client relationships, including with senior executives and property management teams. This role is critical for managing large budgets, driving vendor and contractor performance, and implementing strategic cost-saving initiatives. The Project Manager will ensure operational efficiency across multiple facilities, provide leadership in safety training, oversee payroll, inventory management, and foster new business development. This position requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and a high level of organizational and communication skills to achieve both client satisfaction and business goals. This position reports to the Senior Project Manager.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee and manage high-level client relations, from senior executives to property management teams. Act as the key point of contact for all facility-related matters.

  • Lead and drive operational excellence across multiple facilities, ensuring cost management and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

  • Oversee the preparation and management of budgets, financial reporting, and vendor/contractor performance, ensuring all standards are met and exceeded.

  • Support new business development by identifying growth opportunities, preparing proposals, and assisting with business acquisition efforts.

  • Manage a team of staff, providing leadership, training, and ensuring operational success through continuous mentoring and development.

  • Ensure compliance with ABM’s administrative and financial procedures, while overseeing payroll, safety training, and staff scheduling.

  • Conduct regular building inspections, reviewing cleaning performance, equipment condition, and facility safety compliance.

  • Develop and submit reports, proposals, and correspondences in a timely and professional manner.

  • Ensure employees are properly equipped with uniforms and PPE, and review safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

  • Prepare and submit incident/injury reports as needed, addressing any concerns promptly.

  • Utilize Corrigo work order system to track additional work and manage service requests.

  • Perform other duties as required by senior leadership.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management or a related field,

  • Proven expertise in managing large budgets, vendor relationships, and high-level client accounts.

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a focus on employee development and operational excellence.

  • Strong understanding of safety standards and compliance, with experience in facility safety training and incident reporting.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree (e.g., Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, etc.) or equivalent experience.

Other:

  • Experience with LEED, WELL, and other green and sustainability standards

  • Ability to adjust work schedule as needed to support the operation. 

  • Solid business acumen and basic accounting principles.

  • Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and regulations.

  • Ability to grow strong relationships across all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to work through ambiguity and maintain composure in a variety of situations.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal, consultative, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment balancing multiple projects and embracing change.
